COMMENT
ピノノワール種100%。以前造っていた「ジュヴレシャンベルタン1級キャピタ」を構成する「EnErgot（アンエルゴ）」「LesCorbeaux（レコルボー）」「AuxCombottes（オーコンボット）」の区画のうち、2020年ヴィンテージから「AuxCombottes（オーコンボット）」の区画を単独で瓶詰、2021年ヴィンテージからは残りの2つの区画もそれぞれ単独で瓶詰するようになりました。「EnErgot（アンエルゴ）」はブルゴーニュでフィロキセラが蔓延する少し前の1880年頃に購入した歴史ある区画で、1960年に植樹された約0.6haの深い粘土石灰質の畑でシャペルシャンベルタン特級の下方に位置し、繊細な味わいの1級プティットシャペルの畑と隣接していますが、ワインのキャラクターは全く異なります。カシスやオレンジの果皮のような果実味の肉厚でコクのある味わい、スパイシーでザラっとしたタンニンが余韻に感じられ、食欲をそそるような旨味たっぷりの味わいです。

One of the Trapet family's historic holdings, the 2021 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru En Ergot derives from a parcel acquired in the 1880s (during the phylloxera crisis, it sold for the lofty sum of 400 Francs per barrel) that's the continuation of premier cru Petite Chapelle but with deeper soils. Revealing aromas of cassis, sweet plums, orange zest and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a textural, gourmand profile and powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish.
