1973年にアンリ ペロ・ミノによって設立、1993年に現当主のクリストフが継承して以来、気鋭の生産者として評価を高めています。
シャルム・シャンベルタンに所有している区画の面積は0.8ha、樹齢は50年以上。
石灰の岩盤層の上に浅く広がる表土は砂利や泥灰土で構成され赤みがかっており、所々で岩が露出している土壌です。
タンニンや果実味が滑らかで艶やかな味わいが特徴的です。
10年以上の熟成を経ても変わらない端正な表情が期待できるワインです。

The 2016 Charmes Chambertin Vieilles Vignes has a generous bouquet with perfumed red cherries, crushed strawberry and cranberry scents laced with Chinese five spice and crushed flower petal aromas. I appreciate the focus and elegance here. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe red berry fruit, extremely well balanced and restrained (not unlike Denis Bachelet's that I tasted in my prior visit). There is plenty of tension here, and there is a satisfying salinité on the finish that lingers long after the wine has been swallowed. This is a superb Charmes-Chambertin from Christophe Perrot-Minot.
