COMMENT
シャルドネと同じピューの畑に植わる14品種から構成される新アイテム。ブドウ木のDNA検査はされていないが、植樹は1887年と古く、ブレンドの30%をジンファンデルが占め、他にはプティット・シラー、アリカンテ・ブーシェ、マルヴァジアなどが含まれているという。
ミックスベリーや桃の豊かなアロマにフローラルのアクセント。芳醇さとスパイシーな果実味のバランスが素晴らしい。

The 2019 Mixed Blacks Peugh Vineyard is a new cuvee from Anthill Farms, made up of 14 different grape varieties. Winemaker Anthony Filiberti says there has never been a DNA test on these vines, but he estimates there may be about 30% Zinfandel planted, plus other varieties including Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Malvasia, etc. It has explosive aromas of mixed berry preserves and peaches, with loads of floral accents, wafts of blood orange and Angostura bitters. The full-bodied palate is pleasantly chewy and loaded with spicy fruits, and it finishes with a kaleidoscope of flavor layers. Drink it over the next 3-5 years for all that gregarious, perfumed fruit.
