スパイシーなワイルドベリーの香りにバラの花びらのニュアンス。ジューシーで艶やかながら、丸みのあるタンニンがあり、深みを感じバランスの取れた味わい。

The 2020 Meursault Clos des Mouches Rouge wafts from the glass with aromas of rich berry fruit, warm spices, rose petals and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, rich and vibrant, its fleshy core of fruit is framed by ripe, powdery tannins and lively acids. -

熟したナシやリンゴの果実、アカシアの花のクリーンな香りにローストしたヘーゼルナッツのニュアンス。いきいきとした綺麗な酸が伸び、塩味を感じる力強いフィニッシュ。バランスの取れたムルソー。

I always open a bottle of the latest release from Germain "off the back of the truck," and the 2020 Meursault Village is showing very well indeed, offering up aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, hazelnuts, warm bread and citrus oil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy but incisive palate that's satiny and seamless, exhibiting excellent balance and a more effortless, sensual style than the more powerful 2019 that I had the occasion to drink several days earlier. Readers should aspire to exercise more patience than I did, but nor is trying a bottle young a crime.
