Lavish and dramatic, the 2016 Marsannay Les Longeroies bursts with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, licorice and dried flowers. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, seductively satiny and enveloping, with succulent acids, a concentrated core of fruit and melting tannins, concluding with a long finish. It's already hard to resist. -

The 2020 Marsannay Les Longeroies is a touch more reserved out of the gates than the Clos du Roy, unwinding in the glass with notes of wild berries, red plums, vine smoke, spices, peonies and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, it's deep and concentrated, with powdery tannins and a chalky finish. -

Unwinding in the glass with aromas of blackberries, raspberries, sweet spices and peonies, Audoin's 2020 Marsannay Les Favières is medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, its powdery tannins largely concealed in a layered core of vibrant, fragrant fruit. While it's especially suave out of the gates, this is always the domaine's long-distance runner, so patience will be rewarded. -
