The 2020 Petit Gravet Aîné has a deep garnet-purple color, needing a little swirling to unlock profound notions of preserved plums, blackberry jam and raspberry coulis, plus hints of tar, red roses and dried Provence herbs. The medium to full-bodied palate is elegantly crafted with tightly knit black fruit and savory layers and very fine-grained tannins, lifted with seamless freshness, finishing long and earthy. It is a wine of great restraint and with a quiet intensity that will reward the patient.

The 2014 Petit-Gravet-Aine is located on the pied de côte in Saint Emilion. It has a gorgeous bouquet with pure dark cherry and blueberry aromas. There is some new oak to be subsumed, but there is plenty of fruit to soak that up. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine line of acidity, harmonious with a brisk, quite minerally finish. Excellent—this is well worth seeking out.
輸入元の試飲会場で最も感動したのが、全く知らないボルドーでした。女性の醸造家が造っているそうです。ブドウは、カベルネ・フランがメインと記載されていましたが、全く青臭さは感じません。香りを嗅いだ瞬間から、いきなり私を虜にする感じでした。口に含むとボリュームのある新鮮な果実味と豊かなタンニンが旨味を伴って口内一杯に広がります。それが非常にしなやかなんです。滅茶滅茶質感が良いのです。同時に試飲したアメリカのヴェリテも素晴らしいワインでしたが、私はこのワインに軍配を上げたいです。どうぞオーパス・ワンやボルドーの上位のワインをご検討の皆様、また1万円以内で美味しい赤ワインをお探しの皆様 是非このワインをお試しくださいませ。感動的です。

The 2016 Petit Gravet Aine is a blend of 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot aged for 14 months in 100% new Taransaud and Ana Selection French oak barrels. Deep garnet-purple in color, it charges forth with gregarious roses and violets scents with a core of kirsch, redcurrant jelly and wild blueberries plus tilled soil, pencil shavings and fallen leaves. Rich, opulent and perfumed in the mouth, it is full-bodied and very firm with wonderfully ripe tannins and a long spicy finish. About 916 cases produced.
