The 2020 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières (Domaine Louis Jadot) is also excellent, unwinding in the glass with scents of citrus zest, crisp green orchard fruit, vanilla pod and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and chiseled, it's racy and incisive, with a tangy spine of acidity and a long, searingly chalky finish.

Aromas of almond paste, ripe orchard fruit, lemon confit and honeycomb introduce the 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes (Maison Louis Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered wine, with good depth, concentration and tangy acids but an open-knit, charming profile.
