The 2016 Pommard 1er Cru Les Grands Epenots was the most generous yields for the domaine this year at 22 hectoliters per hectare. It has a captivating bouquet with black cherries, blueberry and touches of violet, well defined and focused, really articulating the vineyard with zeal and aplomb. The palate is well balanced with succulent ripe black fruit, quite caressing int he mouth with very good substance and poise on the spice-tinged finish. Bon vin! -

The 2020 Pommard 1er Cru Les Grands Epenots is lovely, mingling aromas of wild berries and plums with hints of raw cocoa and loamy soil in an inviting bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, seamless and velvety, it's deep and concentrated, underpinned by powdery tannins and lively acids. -
