Unwinding in the glass with notes of white flowers, citrus zest, freshly baked bread, iodine and mint, Lamy's 2021 Bourgogne Les Chataigners is medium-bodied, chiseled and incisive, with good depth at the core and a penetrating finish. It benefits from some 50% declassified juice from the later press fractions of higher appellations. -

￥9,350 （税込）COMMENT自然派的な意味ではない還元的な造りが特徴的なラミーのワインはともすれば不愛想に感じることすらあります。
2020年はトップから完熟した果実が開放している今までにない印象。
冷涼産地でゆっくりと完熟した黄色果実を思わせる香りはどこか異次元的で超大御所生産者の持つ気配に満ちています。ハチミツがまるで光の糸のように鼻腔に絡みつく立ち上がり。
口に入れるとミネラルのテグス、ハチミツの絹糸が束になって上昇。酸が毛羽立つこともなく大きなスケール。
余韻にかけてわずかに収れん性を伴う洋ナシ。
ただただ巨躯を思わせる気配に満ちているのに威圧するような強さを感じさせない卓越した世界。
ポテンシャルも非常に高く、抜栓後も大きな上昇曲線を描きます。

The 2020 Bourgogne Les Chataigners is already expressive, exhibiting aromas of crisp green apple, orange oil and nutmeg, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and giving palate underpinned by racy acids, and concluding with a mouthwatering finish. Lamy's grander appellations may be entering the pricing stratosphere on the secondary market, but this superb cuvée remains very accessible and is well worth seeking out.
