The 2022 Condrieu from Graeme & Julie Bott is a lovely classic in the making, unfurling in the glass with aromas of spring blossoms, white fruits, flowers, apricots and honeysuckles mingled with delicate spicy notes. Bright and vibrant, it's medium to full-bodied, enrobing and precise with a sappy, charming mid-palate that segues into a sappy, delicately phenolic finish. Made from purchased grapes, fermented in barrels and matured for nine months in large barrels, this is a strong effort.

A blend of 70% Roussanne and 30% Marsanne, the 2022 Saint-Joseph Blanc from Graeme and Julie Bott reveals a fresh, elegant bouquet of almonds, spring flowers and spices mingled with delicate notes of white peach. Medium to full-bodied, enrobing and seamless, it's elegant with a fleshy core of fruit and bright acids, concluding with a long, saline finish. Vinified and aged for nine months in barrels without batonnage, this release is a true success, benefiting from some additional bottle aging to blossom.
