Aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, citrus zest, apple blossom and sweet stones introduce the 2021 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derriere Chez Edouard Haute Densite, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and complete wine that's layered and harmonious, with a cool core of fruit that's girdled by racy acids, concluding with a long, saline finish. Yields here were 22 hectoliters per hectare, with a planting density of up to 30,000 vines per hectare. As ever, this will really demand a decade of patience to reveal its full potential. -

The 2021 Puligny-Montrachet Les Tremblots was spared by the frosts on the one hand and incorporates young vine fruit from Lamy's high-density plantings on the other. Perhaps that explains why it's so good, wafting from the glass with notes of peach, pear, orange zest, gunflint and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with a pure core of fruit, racy acids and a saline finish, it's an overperformer in the range. -

The 2020 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard Haute Densité is another brilliant rendition of one of contemporary Burgundy's most fascinating wines. Unwinding in the glass with aromas of lime zest, white flowers, wet stones, oyster shell and subtle reduction, it's full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a multidimensional core of fruit that's framed by racy acids and huge reserves of chalky dry extract. Incisive, penetrating and tightly wound, anyone lucky enough to acquire a bottle or two should plan on a minimum of a decade's patience. -

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Le Concis du Champs has turned out very well indeed, exhibiting aromas of crisp orchard fruit, fresh peach, orange zest and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, ample and layered, it's concentrated and fleshy, with serious structure and depth—which won't surprise anyone who saw the small, open clusters with thick skins that Lamy harvested in this parcel in 2020. -

畑・土壌：深い表土。南東向きの粘土石灰質土壌。 標高：230メートル 斜度：１％
樹齢：1930～1970年に植樹
栽培：グイヨ仕立て。この16年、化学肥料は一切使わず、土壌のためのコンポストを与えています。
葉の表面が太陽を最大限享受するためにパリサージュ（枝の固定）は高く1.4メートル。
ドメーヌの畑ではリュット・アンテグレを採用しています。
醸造：手摘み、小さなケースで葡萄を運搬。プヌマティック（空圧）式プレスでゆっくりと圧搾。
デブルバージュ（前清澄）せず。300リットルと600リットル（ドゥミ・ミュイ）の樽で発酵。
（ヴォージュ産、アリエ産、トロンセ産…新樽比率0％、１～9年樽使用）。
温度管理をしながら90日間発酵。バトナージュせず。
熟成：熟成がゆっくり進むように低い温度で熟成させます。
樽でマロラクティック発酵。24か月熟成後、重力で瓶詰め。
味わい：光沢のある若々しい緑がかった色調。白い果実、柑橘類、ほのかにトリュフのアロマがあります。

Once again, the 2020 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Derrière Chez Edouard contains the young high-density plantings that Lamy deems insufficiently mature to merit inclusion in his Haute Densité cuvée. Offering up aromas of crisp orchard fruit, citrus oil and freshly baked bread, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, its satiny attack segueing into a taut, chalky mid-palate and a long, mineral finish. -

大理石に香りがあるのか？と聞かれたらもちろん無いです、と言うより他にないのですが 白く硬質な石を思わせる緊張感に満ちた香りは例えるなら大理石のような荘厳さ。
追いかけるような緑のシダや柑橘、白桃の微粒子は恐ろしいほど細やか。酸がしっかりと軸にあり硬質で凛とした佇まいはまさにクロ・デュ・メ。早摘みのエグさが皆無なのは狂気にも近い葡萄に対するアプローチの為せる業。
中間でひゅっと引き締まりわずかに若さ由来の収れん。遠く遠くまで香りの光線が突き抜けていくように果実が鮮やかに真っ直ぐ伸びていく。やはり次元の違う世界を見せてくれる。（2023年1月 村岡）

2020年はトップから完熟した果実が開放している今までにない印象。
冷涼産地でゆっくりと完熟した黄色果実を思わせる香りはどこか異次元的で超大御所生産者の持つ気配に満ちています。ハチミツがまるで光の糸のように鼻腔に絡みつく立ち上がり。
口に入れるとミネラルのテグス、ハチミツの絹糸が束になって上昇。酸が毛羽立つこともなく大きなスケール。
余韻にかけてわずかに収れん性を伴う洋ナシ。
ただただ巨躯を思わせる気配に満ちているのに威圧するような強さを感じさせない卓越した世界。
ポテンシャルも非常に高く、抜栓後も大きな上昇曲線を描きます。
