The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is very promising, mingling notes of cherries, dark berries and plums with hints of sweet spices and coca. Medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, it's lively and concentrated, with fine depth at the core and a long, delicately perfumed finish.

Unwinding in the glass with notes of wild berries, spices, orange rind and licorice, the 2019 Vosne-Romanee Village is medium-bodied, lively and concentrated, with lovely depth and length. One of the more reserved communal appellations in Felettig's cellar, I suspect it will flesh out with further elevage. As readers may remember, this cuvee derives largely from prime lieu-dit Aux Jachees.
