The PoggioargentierA 2019 Cabernet Franc PoggioRaso opens to an inky black appearance and medium-rich concentration. The bouquet reflects the ideals of the sunny Tuscan coast with dark layers of blackberry, sweet blueberry and cherry Sucrets. The organic wine is soft and textured, with spice and toast on the close. Hints of crushed aspirin and limestone frame that core of dark fruit. You might pair this with spicy ribs, the kind that force you to lick your fingers after each bite.
