From a parcel planted in 1937 comes the 2020 Echézeaux Grand Cru Les Treux Vieilles Vignes, a cuvée produced from a parcel that amounts to a third of a hectare. Wafting from the glass with aromas of dark berries, plums, exotic spices and petals that are framed by a generous patina of new oak, it's full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with plenty of velvety tannins and a deep, structured core. This will require and reward at least a decade's patience.
