The 2021 Riesling Ürziger Würzgarten Spätlese (Golden Capsule) is clear, precise and flinty on the elegant and complex but bright and alluring nose. On the palate, this is a round and mouth-filling, crystalline and very elegant Würzgarten with a very long, stimulating saline and crunchy, thus almost dry-tasting finish. It has a beautiful slate character and stimulating tension and is mouth-watering. A great wine. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2023.
