The deep saturated ruby/purple-colored 2000 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard offers a beautiful perfume of violets, minerals, sweet black cherry and raspberry fruit, toasty wood, and earth. It is a Comte de Vogue Musigny-like effort without the copious tannin. This long, rich, nicely-textured, and pure offering will be its finest between 2005-2016.
