Aromas of dark cherry fruit, rose petals, rich soil tones and blood
orange introduce Fourrier's 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, a
medium to full-bodied, perfumed and succulent wine, its fine-grained but
muscular tannins cloaked in an ample core of fruit. Long and penetrating,
this is a promising young wine in the making.
